The APDA Expansion Committee has a tripartite role: first, to serve as a point of contact for individuals seeking to join APDA or new programs looking to get more involved; second, to provide resources and advice to the same; and third, to reduce barriers to entry to joining the league by advocating on behalf of new and small programs both formally and informally. To achieve these ends, the Committee provides hybrids for expansion debaters interested in attending tournaments, resources for expansion schools looking to host their own tournaments, and expansion coordinators who guide newer schools through the process of integrating into the league.
The Expansion Committee can be reached at apdaexpansion@gmail.com. Feel free to reach out to any committee member, especially the one who serves your region!
